1.1.1 Able to speak with correct word stress.
1.1.3 Able to listen to, say aloud and recite rhymes, tongue twisters and sing songs paying attention to pronunciation, rhythm and intonation.
Objectives:
By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to recite jazz chant about hobbies and say the word correctly.

Stage 1: Set Induction
1. Pupils will be shown with picture cards of a park.
2. Pupils will be asked to name the actions of the people in the picture.
3. Pupils will be asked whether they have ever done the actions or not.

1. Teacher read the jazz chant loudly.
2. Pupils read the lyric of the jazz chant on the whiteboard.
2. Pupils recite the jazz chant.
3. The teacher flips picture cards of hobbies during pupils’ recitation.

Stage 3: Practice
1. Pupils will be put into five groups.
2. Distribute a set of picture cards to each group.
3. Teacher will show a picture card to the class and say the word aloud.
4. Group leaders pick up the picture and repeat after the teacher.
5. Pupils take turns to echo the word in their group.

Stage 4: Production
1. Pupils will be given a worksheet.
2. To complete the worksheet, the pupils must listen to the jazz chant recitation by the teacher.

4. Teacher will repeat the jazz chant twice.
